Wanna watch “CSI: Miami” on iPhone for free? CBS has recently released TV.com iPhone application that streams full-length CBS & Showtime video to iPhone.
Quoted from Macworld:
Most of the content consists of clips, interviews, and promos, but you’ll also find full episodes of some TV shows, such as “CSI: Miami” and the aforementioned Richard Dean Anderson classic mixed in (well, to be honest, there weren’t many other shows I could find full episodes of at first glance). Full episodes are presented as multiple clips instead of as a single video. You can search for shows using the Search box at the top, or tap on the Shows and Channels buttons to browse in other ways.
TV.com iPhone app works across EDGE, 3G and Wifi network. All videos that are streamed via this app are absolutely free. However, Macworld’s review also wrote that the app is not very stable:
A quick test of a few clips using a Wi-Fi connection showed acceptable but not stellar quality, and wide-screen clips appeared with black bars all around them. The app also seems a bit unstable and unpolished—Cnet videos showed wildly inaccurate run times of as long as 23 hours—but with a little work (and perhaps some duct tape and a ballpoint pen) it looks promising.
From my earlier test, the application looks pretty good and is not very stable. However, as I did my test today, I was blocked from accessing the video. The application now allows video streaming to US visitors ONLY. Sigh.
If you’re from US, you can download the TV.com app via this direct iTunes link. Also, remember to leave comment and share your thought about this application.

Hi,
Does anyone know how to install this app if one does not have it available in iTunes Store? Seem that Apple has restricted it to certain markets and the iTunes Store that I have an account for belongs to a restricted market.
@Teddybeer, you need to apply a US iTunes account. If you’re not from US, you can check out globaliTunes.com and buy an iTunes gift ticket to create a US account.
