Just back from Beijing. I had a short break and took a trip to the capital of China. This trip was fun and I had a great time with my wife. Other than having a 1-day ski tour and visit famous monuments, as an Apple fans, Apple Store is definitely one of my travel spots.
So far, Apple only opens up a single Apple Store in China and this one is located in Beijing. The Apple Store in Beijing was unveiled in mid-Jul last year and situated at Sanlitun Village, a new retail development in Beijing. Same as Apple Store in other countries, the same architectural and internal design applied to the one in Beijing. The building is all-glass with a glass staircase inside.

Inside the store, you can find MacBooks, iMac, MacBooks Pro, iPods, Genius Bar and one-to-one technical support area, etc. But one thing you won’t be able to locate — the iPhone. Yes, there is still no iPhone available in China. Apple is still in talk with China’s carriers to bring iPhone to China officially.

So, next time, when you’re in Beijing, probably you’d include Sanlitun and Apple Store in your trip plan.

Stay tuned. I’ll continue update you on any iPhone-related news in upcoming posts.
