iPod Touch 2G Jailbreak (redsn0w) Available – For Expert Only & Use at your own risk

As mentioned in earlier post, iPhone Dev Team has come up with a solution (codenamed redsn0w) to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G. But the jailbreak procedures is quite complex and involves lots of manual procedures.

While iPhone Dev Team is on the way to release an intuitive jailbreak tool (similar to QuickPwn) for iPod Touch 2G, they has posted the tethered jailbreak procedures on redsn0w.com for expert users. Again, please note that the manual jailbreak method is for expert user and the instructions are designed for Mac, though you can probably work out the procedures for Windows as iPhone Dev Team mentioned.

If you consider yourself as expert Jailbreak user, you can check out the procedures at redsn0w.com. However, as mentioned in the website, use the procedures at your own risk and there will be no support if you encounter any problems.

So, think twice before you apply the procedures. And, for most users, I suggest you to be patient and wait for the release of easy Jailbreak tool. Stay tuned.
