Winterboard Theme: Vista Mobile Theme for iPhone

by Simon Ng on January 23, 2009

Last time, we have Perform Storm theme that turns your iPhone into Blackberry’s look & feel. Here, Vista Mobile theme for iPhone is another fun theme and makes iPhone look like Windows Vista.

Vista Mobile theme is a complete theme designed for Winterboard and comes with customized application icons, fading wallpaper (yeah, the wallpaper is changing from time to time), revamped lock screen, UIImages and sound effects.

If you’re bored with your existing Winterboard theme, you can download Vista Mobile theme via Cydia.

For the Battery information (I was in the same boat). Go to your settings and under there, you’ll see Springboard. Click on Springboard and scroll to the bottom, it would say Numeric Battery and just slide that to yes. You can also modify the a Fake Carrier if you want!!

Holy crap I can’t believe I finally solved this problem with the battery!
In my case, I’m using the theme with WinterBoard and I also have a beautiful app called SBSettings (the new BossTools, it’s like a dock where you slide your finger from the top of the screen downwards and the options will appear). With this app I went in “More/Extras” and then I enabled the numeric battery. After that, It didn’t work but I had an Idea: Respring.
Finally, the fucking numbers for the battery appeard! :) yay!
Good luck guys, and have patience.

how do i get the battery icon back on the upper right side of the screen instead of the “x” using the vista mobile theme? I can’t see the battery life at all.

@aiden,

You need to jailbreak your iPhone in order to install cydia and winterboard. If you’re using iPhone OS 3.1.2 or lower, you can follow this guide to jailbreak your iPhone.

I procure a Gateway 835GM with a Intel Pentium D 820 processor, and it always runs hot (like 65 C) and is there a program I can use to fashion up the fan speed to chill it down so I can suffer with advance performance? I tried SpeedFan but it didn’t introduce on my computer.
