@Kimberly,

Beta means this software is still under development/testing and not released yet. Normally, before a software or application is officially to public, it will be tagged as "Beta" for testing. This phase in software development cycle is often referred as "beta" stage.

So, are you looking for jailbreak solution for your iPhone?

hey look i have the 2.2.1 version of the iphone and i don't get what your saying "beta"? Maybe it's because i'm to young to understand it. so should i wait to get it or get now without having any problems with my iphone. I only had it for about a month now and i really don't want to destroy it. sry about putting this on your comments.

Sincerely,

Kimberly
