By now, you should know that the unlock software (codename “yellowsn0w”) for iPhone 3G was released. Quite a large number of iPhone 3G users have reported that the unlock application didn’t work for their SIM cards or carriers. A few hours ago, iPhone Dev Team updated yellowsn0w with v0.94. It’s still in BETA, but this new version offers some bug fixes. So, if you can’t unlock the iPhone 3G using previous version, try to install this updated version and perform the unlock again. This probably works!
I’m writing up a step-by-step guide for iPhone 3G unlock using yellowsn0w. This will be soon posted. So, check back later if you do not know the exact procedures on using yellowsn0w. Stay tuned.
Update: yellowsn0w 0.95 beta is out!
