CallMe brings Speed Dial to Jailbreak iPhone

by Simon Ng on December 9, 2008

It may take a while before Visual Dial officially debuts on App Store. As mentioned in previous post, you do not need to wait for Visual Dial to bring speed dial to iPhone. If you already jailbreak the iPhone, you can go ahead and download CallMe on Cydia.

CallMe offers similar functionality as Visual Dial that lets you put a dial icon on iPhone home screen for your favourite contacts.

It’s really simple and handy. With CallMe, you can dial to your love one with 1-touch dial, just like launching an application.

CallMe provides a simple interface for user to create speed dial. After launched, CallMe shows all your contacts with a photo. Just tape the “+” button for those contacts you want to bring them to home screen. That’s it. You’ll these contacts when you go back to the iPhone front page.

CallMe is freely available on Cydia via iSpazio source and developed by Giovanni Chiappini.

It seems that the iSpazio source is down…I don’t know why or when it will be working again…but they’re respectable people and i believe they will solve it soon
