SpoonJuice developed Night Stand for iPhone or iPod Touch that turns the devices into a beautiful digital clock. The application is extremely simple and focus on doing one thing – Display a gorgeous & glowing digital clock on iPhone for you to put in the bedroom at night.
Night stand displays digital clock in both portrait and landscape mode, depending on the orientation of iPhone. The screen auto-lock is already disabled when using Night Stand. Night Stand comes with three different colors (red, green and blue) and you can change it in Settings. Other options allow for configuration include 24/12 hour time format, show/hide seconds and show/hide day of the week.
One great thing about Night Stand is it allows you to play iPod music in background. That’s why SpoonJuice gives every iPhone user a tips when using Night Stand: Before launching Night Stand, create a playlist with ambient and soothing music and play it on iPhone. This will definitely make Night Stand even more enjoyable.
Night Stand does not end with this version. Subsequent updates are coming with more skins, flip clock & binary clock, screen dimming and alarm.

varun, you can install this application via App Store on iPhone. To use App Store, you will need to first register an account through iTunes. The procedures are very straightforward.
How do you get to the options, all i see is the clock ? !
George, you can find the Night Stand options in “Settings”.
I’ve just added a super cool Clock App to the AppStore called ‘Doodle Clock’ which will let you create your own clock Themes by drawing or taking photos. As a demo it also includes a Sand Clock. So far the response has been great, I just need to spread the word! If you don’t like it then I’d love to know why not!
