I will take a week off and travel to Japan very soon. Before I’m leaving to Japan, I can’t wait until I come back from Japan to recommend Kotoba! to you. Kotoba! is a multilingual Japanese dictionary for iPhone and iPod Touch. The application already comes with the whole dictionary (over 50MB) installed on iPhone. That means, you can search for word any time, even without network connection.

Kotoba! was developed using the JMdict files from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development group. Kotoba! can help you translate English to Japanese on the fly. This offers a great help for any traveller who do not speak Japanese. At least, I know how to order my favourite sushi when I am at Japan.
