Earlier, I wrote a post “Will Google Map (Street View & Walking Direction) come with iPhone 2.2“. Now it seems Google Street View will definitely be incorporated in firmware 2.2. MacRumors reported that Google Street View is enabled in the next version of firmware in the beta 2 release of firmware 2.2.
Beside MacRumors also indicated that Line-in audio accessories are now supported in the SDK.
Please note that iPhone firmware 2.2 is still BETA stage and Apple does not announce the release date. But I’ll expect it’ll be released soon. Stay tuned. I’ll update you the latest status and how you can upgrade/jailbreak iPhone 2.2 when it’s released.
