Firemail: Write Email in landscape mode on iPhone

by Simon Ng on October 19, 2008

Like me, you may have turned iPhone sideway when you’re using Mail application and expect that iPhone switch to landscape mode. Of course, you’re disappointed. Surprisingly, Apple does not let you type email in landscape mode. Earlier, TouchType, which costs USD$0.99, helped Apple fix the problem. Now, a free application called “Firemail” has been released on App Store that also lets you type your message in landscape mode. Firemail does not replace the default email application of iPhone. Instead, it just lets iPhone user type the message in landscape form. And, you can hit a button to send that message to email application directly.

Firemail is available at App Store and free for download [Download Firemail].

As always, do share with me and other readers about your comment or experience on Firemail.
