Air Sharing Released v1.0.2 with new image viewer

Avatron Software has released an minor update (v1.0.2) for its well-known Air Sharing application. For those you may not heard of Air Sharing, the application allows iPhone users to view document, excel, powerpoint, PDF, images and other kinds of text files on iPhone. Air Sharing also developed a intuitive mechanism to let you transfer files from your computer to iPhone wirelessly. You can refer to my earlier post about the details.

Back to the update, Air Sharing v1.0.2 comes with a number of enhancement and bug fixes:

  • All new image viewer
  • Support for very high-resolution images (over 100MB)
  • Full-screen document viewing
  • Support for zipped iWork Files
  • Fixed file system corruption on long path name
  • Fixed handling of special characters in filenames
  • Numerous minor bug fixes


Particularly, the new image view and full-screen support for document view are huge improvements. For those who already owned this application, check out App Store and download the update.
