Simon...

I have iPhone 2g, was on 2.1.1 but downgraded to
2.2
2.1
2.0.2
2.0.1

And have tried Jailbreaking/unlocking each individually.
Each jailbreak works perfectly, exept my Orange PAYG Sim card gets 'No Service'

I have tried BootNeuter and that just takes away the 'No Service' but I never get a signal and it wont stop 'Searching' for a carrier in the settings menu.

Please help me unlock my phone :)

Simon,

I'm looking for some clarification regarding updating a jailbreak 1st gen iphone currently on 1.1.2. and wanting to upgrade to 2.2. It's my understanding that I fully restore the iphone to factory settings (which in my case would be 1.1.1 or thereabouts) and then through itunes upgrade to 2.2, then use quickPwn to jailbreak to 2.2. Can you confirm this?

Thanks

PLEASE HELP! I have IPHONE 3G that was working fine, but not jailbroken, though was unlocked, or so I was tald when I bought it. I have tryed to jailbreak it using WinPwn and it is now dead! It shows the picture "connect to itunes' and when I do so, it says the phone is damaged and go to your nearest apple store.
Have WinPwn damaged my phone or just locked it? Is there any way to do something about it?
I run the firmware version 2.0.2
I have tryed to update the firmware to the original unmodified 2.0.2 file through itunes, but it is still the same - I can only make emargency calls.
PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
