Screen Capture Shortcut on iPhone 2.0

by Simon Ng on July 31, 2008

Taking screenshot on iPhone have never been so easy after upgrading my iPhone. With iPhone firmware 2.0, it comes with a built-in screen capture shortcut. Just hold the “Home” button and press “Power/Sleep” button. You will then notice a quick flash. And, the screenshot will go into the camera roll of Photos.

For jailbreaked iPhone with firmware 1.1.4, you can also enjoy the same feature. But you need to install a Screenshot Enabler from iClarified first. You can download the enabler via Installer. But take note, the shortcut key is different. To take screenshot, hold the “Home” button and toggle “Silent mode” button. The screenshot can then be found in the camera roll.
