Hey simon, whats up man.. i just had a quick question for you, right now im using tmobile on my iphone.. it is unlocked with a turbo sim i guess. the dude told me to never upgrade it cuz i will lock my phone that way.. but now im trying to download some of the apps from appstore and it says that its not compatible with my iphone. so i think i should upgrade it to the latest software.. Currently im on:
Version                      2.1 (5F136)
Carrier                       2.6
Modem Firmware         02.11.07
and i believe the latest version is 3.1. what do you recommend me to do? cuz when i connect my iphone to itunes it says unknown sim card.. help me please.. thank you.
i just want to upgrade it to the latest version and stil want my tmobile sim to work on it. thank u so much

@Valentin,

That's fine to upgrade from 1.0.2 to firmware 2.2. directly. But I suggest you to follow this jailbreak guide and use QuickPwn for the upgrade. I suggest you to ignore the download of the newest version of firmware and follow the guide to download it manually.
