Never thought of spending HKD$4700 (USD$600) on a cell phone, but I did buy myself and girl friend an iPhone at such price last week. Just like many other countries, iPhone is not officially released in Hong Kong. I can’t wait for the offical launch in (late?) 2008. The one I own is an unlocked version hacked using iPhoneSimFree. The sales claimed that it’s better than the free counterpart anySIM, but need to pay a premium of HKD$400 (USD$50) for that. Okay, i haven’t done any research and just don’t want to screw up my iPhone. Let me pay a little bit extra… Deal! And here is my most luxury phone I ever own. Cool and amazing!
