When iPhone was first announced in Jan 2007, the battery life was not that outstanding compared to other cell/smart phones. As claimed by Apple at that time, it would deliver 5 hours of talk time. But today, Apple announced a breaking news that iPhone, when ships on Jun 29, will deliver up to 8 hours of talk time, twice longer than most mobile phones in the market. That’s truly amazing. What’s more are that it can support you up to 6 hours of Internet use and 7 hours of video playback. And one more thing, it even features up to 24 hours of audio playback.

I’m not sure Steve Jobs chose not to disclose this competitive feature in Jan or Apple got some technological breakthrough in these months. This is truly amazing and definitely makes this slick, sexy device even hotter.
One sad thing is… it’s not sold in Hong Kong on Jun 29. Anyone can buy me an iPhone in US?
