When I was young, I was not very fond of travel. I prefer sitting in front of computer, digging code, playing computer games. Not until May 98, which is nine years ago, I have never travelled aboard on plane. At that time, I was twenty-one years old. (Really late?! For my nephew, my sister took him to travel on plane when he was only 7 months old.) My first trip was a 4-days trip to Taipei via China Airline. Before I came to the airport, I had no idea about check-in, boarding pass and how the customs officer handles baggage check. All procedures were so new to me. I remembered I was so excited when the plane took off. The excitement, however, did not keep long as I found that sitting in a bus was more comfortable than a flight (of course, I’m speaking for econmic class).
After this trip, I was addicted to travel. For the rest of that year, I travelled to Korea, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. And I’m still trying to travel aboard at least twice a year.
So, when is your first time travelled on plane? What’s your destination? Share with me.
